We all know Ignatius, clinically insane genius extraordinaire, pitting himself against scientific abominations beyond your comprehension for the sake of... uh... just cause? Fear is not a word you would associate with him, and you'd be completely correct. What in the world is there to be fearful of or disgusted by? It's just how the world works, nothing unusual about it. Pointy things he works with every day, gathering samples to use in his studies. And silly things like the dark or heights is just nonsense. Creatures don't bother him either. Other genekits may be afraid of spiders, or snakes, or centipedes but he finds them all fascinating and has used multitudes of him in his research to try and recreate their traits in scientific form. They're just little guys who don't mean no harm, they don't understand what's going on or what's happening to them so he doesn't blame them for biting or stinging. And more abstract fears like rejection or public speaking? HA have you even met this man? If there's any kit who is fully comfortable and confident in themself and don't need the support or acceptance of others to thrive it's him. He doesn't care what others think of him, and he doesn't mind throwing himself out there for all to see. His insanity is public and he couldn't be prouder. He really should do a scan of himself to see if the part of the brain that controls fear even exists in him cause he seriously doesn't think so.
