Ignatius has never been the most sociable of kits, and when he is you can imagine how uh... eccentric he can be. There are not many who can tolerate his insanity for long (not that we blame them, Iggy is quite kookie), but there have been occasions where he has worked with others on his projects before. Some young kits with aspiring minds for science have 'apprenticed' under him a few times. And though Iggy thinks they all went well and had a great time, they never really stuck around for long. These kits all went on to greener pastures after a few months and a part of him wonders if maybe it's partially his fault? None of them ever said anything, usually mumbling something about finding a different opportunity or something of that nature, but Iggy cant help but get the feeling that his personality was just too much for them. They'd be all bright eyed and bushy tailed when they first start, but after a few weeks they look exhausted and in need of a nap. Sure he asked a lot from them, but maybe it was too much? It kind of saddens him a bit, he really enjoys these youngsters help, but they all always seem to leave soon after getting to know him. As much of a genius as he is, Iggy just is impossible to work with, too zany and high energy to ever keep up with or satisfy, having 20 projects going at once. It was just too much, so all his prospective assistants get soured to the job and leave.
