One of Meredith’s favorite memories is when she would put on performances for her family. They were all very musically inclined from very young, including their parents, so this sort of spectacle was not out of the ordinary. She would make her own costumes with her mother’s help, and plan the whole performance, including composing the score herself. Her favorite performances were the ones that centered on her being a fairy, a princess, or a fairy princess. Or an intergalactic spy. She had range even at that tender age. Often, she would recruit her siblings to be her co-star, but there was nothing she loved more than the spotlight. She of course was happy to be an enthusiastic and attentive audience member for her siblings and friends, but none of it could compare to the rush she got when all eyes were on her. She loved the feeling of slipping on a costume and the character that came with it - whether she was a broody fairy, a brave princess, or a handsome knight in shining armour. This feeling has obviously followed her into adulthood, and she credits the patience and support of her family for allowing her to grow into the popstar she is today.
