She had failed. Despite doing all that she knew she was supposed to, despite pleading with earnest with prayers and sacrifices and offerings upon altars and offering herself up to their whim if they wished, the gods did not answer her prayers. Yuna has never felt such despair as she did now casting her eyes about her distressed village. Kits roam with slogged steps, faces downturned, heads hung, backs slouched. Not a joyful expression in sight, and it was all her fault. The gods did not answer her prayers, and now her village is destitute. The rains they feverently prayed for never came, their crops all dried and withered into husks, and then the fires started of which she had never seen before in her life. They destroyed everything, even the pitiful danglings of half formed foodstuffs that, while not great, would have at least been SOMETHING. But now they have nothing, nothing but scorched earth and ash and a sense of impending doom. No one has said a word to her, but they needn't so. She knew this was her fault, and that everyone blamed her. She is their priestess, she is meant to care for them and prevent this exact thing from happening. She was supposed to lead her village to bounty and happiness. But not this year. This year all her teachings failed her, her gods did not answer her, and she has no idea why. She just weeps.
