Yuna had always wanted to officiate a mateship, even when she was a young kit. She loves the thought of love, and to be the one to officially make it happen in a big ceremony is something she had always daydreamed about. It was a long time coming, she had to wait for herself to be grown enough to even consider it, and even after that she had years and years of training to go through before she could earn the title of priestess, the title that would allow her the power to be head of such an important event. But it finally happened, and between two kits who she had sort of grown up with. They were never friends, she spent her time sequestered in the temple to learn, but they knew of each other for years, and now that they all had grown up Yuna was able to perform a mateship between the two kits who she has known since she was a kit herself. It was a magical moment, of celebrations, prayers of thanks to the gods, and of course thankfulness to her from the kits in love for making their bond official. A mateship is rare and far between in a village as small as hers, so Yuna was beyond honored to have the chance to do it, and what a monumental moment it was for not only the kits being wed, but her as well.
