Caravaast is a warrior. He'd tell you that he has no fears. That he faces any uncertainties head-on. What he won't tell you - tell anyone - is what happened the first time he came face-to-face with his greatest fear.

Caravaast is the sole survivor and he will take the details of that fateful day to his grave. The scars that litter his torso and his mar his soul are the only remaining evidence of the tragedy. He never lets the scars show because they tend to draw questions and, innocent curiosity or not, it's a story that will never know the light of day.

He believes he should've perished that day. Even now, he can't find a reason for his survival beyond plain dumb luck. And that luck should have favored someone more important, someone with a family to care for. He's riddled with guilt and shame over those events and has sworn that should the situation ever repeat itself, that this time he'll stay. He'll fight through his fear. If he has to make the ultimate sacrifice then so be it.
