And that luck should have favored someone more important, someone with a family to care for. He's riddled with guilt and shame over those events and has sworn that should the situation ever repeat itself, that this time he'll stay. He'll fight through his fear. If he has to make the ultimate sacrifice then so be it.

The air is crisp and fresh. It smells of damp earth and distant rain and with an undercurrent of weeds and hay. Distinctly autumn.

Ginger absolutely loves the season of change! The freshness on the breeze, the explosions of color in the wilderness, the frigid temperatures. But her most favorite thing is that it is the season of warm drinks!

Every year, Ginger looks forward to her first sips of a mug of Chamba Chai tea. You know that nice, inviting scent when you walk into a craft store in the fall? That's this tea. It can only be described as the embodiment of autumn. A warm hug in a mug.

Exotic spices like cinnamon and anise, vanilla, and honey all in a black tea base. Just this side of piping hot. Warming her from the inside out and creating the coziest feels. Ginger simply loves to curl up in the window seat with a big, fluffy blanket and a large steaming mug and just watch the brilliant leaves drift lazily, creating an inviting carpet.

Sitting back upon her haunches with her front limbs folded firmly across her chest, the peculiar individual in front of you stretched out her wings to completely block your path deeper into the wilderness that she called her home.

“Tell me what it is that is most important to all.”

There was a pause as she tilted her head, those eyes watching and inspecting you, “I will offer a clue. It is binding and true; there are no chains of burden, yet it is forged in the hardest of times and the greatest of times.”

Silence hung heavy in the air as they awaited your answer.
